Eligibility
Applicants must be at least 18 years old (or 16 with parent / guardian consent).
By applying, you confirm that meet the age criteria and that the information you provide is accurate, current, and reflective of your own work and identity.
Purpose
The VAGUE Community is a dynamic community of emerging and established creatives who may be considered for training, collaborations, commissions or editorial projects. Inclusion, although a pre-requisite, does not guarantee employment, representation or publication.
Intellectual Property
All work you submit remains your intellectual property. By submitting, you grant the VAGUE Company Ltd a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, review and feature your work for internal evaluation and potential opportunities including, but not limited to, presentations, proposals, or moodboards. Any use beyond internal or promotional purposes (e.g. publishing, commercial use) will require a separate written agreement and your consent.
Data & Privacy
We collect personal data for selection, programming and communication purposes only. Your personal information will be stored securely and only used to communicate relevant opportunities or community updates. You may request to update or remove your profile at any time by contacting thecrew@vague.digital directly. We will never share your details or work without permission. Your data will not be shared with third parties without your consent.
Creative Conduct & Community
We are committed to fostering a safe, inclusive, anti-racist, anti-discriminatory environment. By joining, you agree to respect the values of collaboration, equity and ethical creative practice. We reserve the right to remove anyone from the Community if their behaviour or actions (online or offline) conflict with these values. Any form of harassment, plagiarism or disrespectful behaviour may also result in immediate removal.
Availability & Communication
Being in the VAGUE Community means you may be invited to apply for projects, paid commissions with our clients or training opportunities. You are not required to accept any offers, and there are no obligations beyond mutual interest and consent. Response to opportunities within a reasonable timeframe (up to 3 business days) is appreciated, but non-responsiveness after repeated attempts may result in profile deactivation.
Leaving the Community
You can request removal at any time, for any reason, no questions asked by e-mailing thecrew@vague.digital. Likewise, VAGUE may update or deactivate inactive profiles periodically to keep our membership current and representative.
Updates to Terms
These terms may be updated as the VAGUE Company Limited evolves. You’ll be notified of any significant changes via your registered e-mail address.
