This month at Vague Culture Club we’re exploring Authenticity – the fact or quality of being true (shout out to the Oxford English Dictionary). To help us delve into this theme, we will be looking at the films Sorry to Bother You (Boots Riley, 2018), and McQueen (Ettedgui & Bonhote, 2018), and the novel Now is the Time to Open Your Heart (Alice Walker, 2005).
We’ll be posting content around the theme and our culture items on our instagram and on the portal. These will include some interesting questions to get you thinking about how you are true to yourself, memes to get you through lockdown, and a podcast we can’t wait to share with you at the end of the month.
